About the winery
We are a small, rejuvenated, family winery from Kobylí, which is part of the Blue Mountains region. Grandfather Petr Tomčala founded it in 1997 and for the last few years the winery has been directed by his grandson Patrik Eliáš. He brings a youthful spirit and many new ideas to the winery. He grows and processes grapes with great respect for nature and treats each variety with individual care. We farm about 2.5 hectares of vineyards, which are cultivated by hand with an emphasis on respect for nature, which helps to produce quality wines.

Tomčala Winery is a newly rejuvenated family winery following the tradition started by grandfather Tomčala 24 years ago. In 2020, his grandson Patrik Eliáš took over the winery.
We currently farm two and a half hectares of our own land with an annual production of 12,000 bottles of wine. We cultivate the vineyards by hand with an emphasis on a nature-friendly approach, which results in high quality and perfectly ripe grapes. And it's exactly this kind of raw material that is the basis for creating wines you'll love.
The white wines will delight you with their juiciness and distinctive profile of each grape variety, while the red wines will show the full potential of the robust wines from the Blue Mountains. When working in the cellar, we are not averse to using innovative technologies if we believe they can take the wine to the next level. However, the specific situation and the individual approach to each wine is always decisive. The main varieties in our winery are Sauvignon and Merlot. Specialties in the menu
Some wines are aged in barrique barrels, which give the wine a fuller flavour and aroma from the wood.
The range also includes naturally sparkling wines (Pet-Nat) from the Fauna edition or fine sparkling Frizzante wines.
