The first mention of the Lekavy family tree is given in the chronicle of 1673. At that time, our ancestors farmed the land of the Bojanovský cadastre and cut vineyards, It follows that a significant part of our ancestors' livelihood was working in viticulture and winemaking. This is also evidenced by the wine cellars in Dolní Bojanovice. Until recently, our family winery used to store wine in our old cellar, which was built around 1850.Nowadays we produce wines in a newly built wine cellar.
Welschreisling is an old and highly prized variety of unknown origin. It is one of the most cultivated in our country (8.5% of the total area of vineyards). Excellent terroir for "Vlašák" is offered mainly by the Pálavské vrchy, Mikulov, Slovácko and Velkopavlovice subregions or the Šobes vineyard in the Znojmo region.
