We make wines with heart, with love and humility... St. Florian Winery was founded in the summer of 2015 and focuses on the production of live wines with spontaneous fermentation. Our wines are processed with modern technology, but in accordance with old best practices. We adhere to the principle that the quality of the wine is largely influenced in the vineyard and we just manage the smooth and gentle transition of grapes into wine.
The variety was bred by the director of the wine school in Klosterneuburg in Austria, Dr. F. Zweigelt in 1922 and its expansion to other countries was credited after the Second World War to Dr. Lenz Moser.
