About winemaker

Vinařství Mutěnice, s. r. o. has been operating on the Czech market since 1997. It is a dynamic company, building on centuries-old traditions of grape growing and wine production in one of the largest wine-growing villages in the Czech Republic. The company processes grapes from dozens of hectares, part of which is located in the Slovácké and Velkopavlovická wine region. Over the course of its operation, the winery has developed into one of the largest importers of wine and grapes in the Czech Republic and with a total production of approximately 280 million litres of wine over the entire period of its operation, it ranks among the largest wineries in the Czech Republic.

Basic characteristics of wine

Pinot Gris is known all over the world. Pinot comes from the French pin as the pine cone resembles the shape of a pinot grape. Pinot Gris is also interesting by the fact that although it is a white wine, the color of the grape is almost blue, more precisely gray-blue-red. It is widespread in all sub-areas, mostly in the Velkopavlovice region.
