The 11th year of the prestigious wine competition for the title Winery of the Year 2020 is announced by the Union of Winegrowers of the Czech Republic together with the National Wine Centre and with the support of the Wine Fund and the South Moravian Region.
Unlike other wine competitions in the Czech Republic, the status of the competition is based on a comprehensive assessment of wine companies - not only on the basis of the quality of the wine, but also according to how their business contributes to the elevation, development and modernization of the wine industry in a given year.
Wineries compete in three categories - small, medium and large wineries. From them will emerge the absolute winner.
