Entered in the State Register of Grape Varieties in 2001.
This variety was developed through the cooperation of breeders J. Havlík, F. Zatloukal and L. Michlovský at the Vine Research Centres of Velké Pavlovice and Perná by crossing André x Irsay Oliver.
The wine is full, atypical and, unusually for a red wine, displays expressive muscatty aromas.
It is of vigorous growth, medium-thick foliage and has small to medium bunches with small berries of a blueish-black colour with expressive muscat tones. Resistance to fungal diseases is average. Its soil requirements are currently being assessed.
The grapes attain high must-weight levels and ripen early.
The wine is full, atypical and, unusually for a red wine, displays expressive muscatty aromas. It could probably be successfully used in the production of dessert wines.
