At present plantings are not widespread.
Entered in the State Register of Grape Varieties in 2001.
On the nose one can often detect soft fruity tones. The palate is nicely composed, pleasant, refreshing.
This variety was developed at the Vine Research Centre of Znojmo by vine breeders C. Míša and M. Zbořil by crossing Red Riesling with Bouviertraube.
The leaves are large, light green and heart-shaped. Bunches are small, plentiful and have medium-sized berries of greenish-yellow colour. The variety ripens relatively early. Resistance is on the whole medium, though to grey rot lower. It has no great soil preference. During cultivation it is necessary to make sure that the vines are properly aerated. It is suitable for planting in the northenmost wine districts of Moravia, where it reaches high levels of must-weight for the production of good quality wine. The wine is well-balanced with medium acidity levels.
