David Chrápek and Jindřich Kadrnka will "compete".
Mikrosvín Mikulov Winery. Wine is made by people. This motto guides the philosophy of the ever-developing Mikrosvín winery, which with 220 hectares of vineyards has long been one of the most important producers of predicate wines from the Pálava region. The basic gem of the winery is Riesling, a grape variety which, in the exceptional vineyards of the Mikulov sub-region, gives the wine an original imprint of this part of Moravia. Mikrosvín Mikulov produces its wines in four lines: the Standard Line, Flower Line, Traditional Line and Legia Deximus Gemini - Premium Line. The winery, which lives its own life, subordinating everything to nature, can be found in the idyllic surroundings of the heart of the protected landscape area and biosphere reserve Pálava, listed by UNESCO, and in the adjacent Dunajovice Hills. Its vineyards are located in the municipalities of Dobré Pole, Březí, Dolní Dunajovice and Mikulov. Exceptional for its location is the track in the village of Perná, where the most important Pálava varieties are grown.
The family winery Jindřich Kadrnka is located in the wine-growing village of Březí near Mikulov, close to the beautiful Palava and Dunajovské Hills. The family has been involved in viticulture and wine production for many years. J. Kadrnka: "I and my family are the fourth generation to continue the winery. I have worked in the vineyard and cellar since I was a child, but my first and most important professional step was my first job. In 2001, I joined Mikrosvín Mikulov, where, under the guidance of Ing. Zdeněk Peřina I gained a lot of experience and knowledge. In our family winery we strive to produce top quality grapes, because we believe that only this is the basis for excellent wine. We put emphasis on all the work in the vineyard, the least chemical intervention, the most gentle approach to the bush, the grapes and the wine in general. We grow varieties typical for us and new varieties that we believe can be of high quality. These are Riesling, Riesling, Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Palava, and the new Johanniter. Z
