About event

We cordially invite you to take a walk around Židlochovice, during which you will be able to taste wines from winemakers from the Židlochovicko region. At the same time you will be able to visit the historical wine cellars, which are normally inaccessible to the public. Unlimited wine tasting at the wineries will be from 10:00 to 18:00.

On Saturday 21 May 2022 from 10:00 to 18:00 the first edition of the Walk from wine to wine in Židlochovice will take place, where you will be able to visit professional winemakers from Židlochovice, Nosislav, Žabčice, Hrušovany u Brna, Blučina, Moutnice and taste and buy their wines. These winemakers will be present at the sites, which are the premises of the new Community Centre and historical cellars (e.g. Strejc's Choir, which has vaulted rooms on the ground floor that are the remains of a 16th century Czech Brethren rectory and church). You will also be able to visit the clubhouse of the local Basic Organization of the Czech Horticultural Association Židlochovice, where you will be able to taste the wines of Židlochovice small producers.
