A short walk from the Malostranská bus stop, the St.Wenceslas Vineyard near Villa Richter offers a unique opportunity to enjoy a Saturday afternoon with the best St.Martin's wines from leading Czech and Moravian wineries. Together with the young wines, you can taste St. Martin's feasts. You will taste not only this year's St. Martin's and young wines, but also a lot of gastronomic delicacies! The upper gate of the vineyard opens for you on 12 November from 12.00 to 18.00 and there will also be good music, and those who are not warmed by the rhythm of the music can taste the wines in the heated tent in the vineyard.

Did you know that St. Martin's Day was traditionally a time of feasting and revelry? After all, this is the time of year when the harvest was already safely under the roof and the peaceful Advent with its pre-Christmas fasting was just around the corner. And this pleasant custom of good food and drink has endured to the present day, when people are happy to use the arrival of new wine as an opportunity to entertain and meet friends in the height of autumn.
