This year will be the 5th year of the competition focused on Czech and Slovak wines, followed by a tasting of the competition wines for the public. And what do winemakers appreciate most about the competition?
- The carefully selected professional judges from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
- Precise and rigorous evaluation of the best Czech and Slovak wines.
- A festive evening connected with the award ceremony and the presentation of the Gold Cup in the presence of winemakers full of Czech-Slovak brotherhood and rivalry.

The idea of the competition was born on the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia and has not let us go. Our two countries have many years of common history behind them and it is a pity that we do not have the opportunity to taste and compare our wines together.

Our aim is to use the competition to promote the production and marketing of the best quality wines and at the same time to contribute to a greater knowledge of Czech and Slovak wines among the general and professional public.

1 May 2023 - end of sample registration
2 May - 15 May 2023 - deadline for delivery of wine samples
1.6. - 2.6. 2023 - evaluation of wines
23 June 2023 - award ceremony and public tasting
