The wines we select at events and competitions are later sorted into groups of ten by varietal or region of origin in the tasting cellar and poured into half-inch bottles. Tasting sets of ten different samples will then be sent out or handed over to those interested in wine for 200 CZK (+ postage and deposit for the bottles), whose pleasant task is to compare the wines independently over the next fourteen days and try to rank them according to their preferences. These, and thus the individual rankings, often vary, but after their statistical evaluation and the announcement of the overall results, we all have interesting feedback on which type of wines people like best.
