The small boutique family winery Entrée Mikulov, which is run by Pavla and Zdeněk Tréškovi with their son Jakub, was established in 2017. It is located directly under the vineyard line Pod svatým kopečkem in Mikulov, where they have 2,000 heads of the varieties Veltliner Green, Riesling and Blue Portugal. Previously, they also processed grapes for their famous neighbour David Koller and grapes from important growers from the Mikulov region. However, the dominant grape varieties have always been Riesling, Veltliner, Sauvignon, Sylvánské zelené
and Chardonnay. And why Entrée? As winery owner Pavla explains, "It has a triple meaning for us. Firstly, we are a winery without a history and we write this history ourselves. At the same time, the name Entrée expresses the so-called gateway to St. Hill in Mikulov, at the foot of which we have a vineyard. And the third link is our family. The root of the word "tré" is derived from the surname of our family - Tréškovi." In the logo you will then find 4 letters referring to first names
and the family. It all takes place in her family home. When they were dredging the yard 35 years ago, they found an old cellar, probably 500 years old, probably after the Habans.
White wines are usually left on the fermenter for a long time.
and stirred as needed. The red wines here represent a real return to their roots - from open fermentation to barrel ageing, and especially the MER, CS and MP varieties. The winery's philosophy can be summed up in the phrase "There is no hurry or Wine needs its time".
Annual production is limited to a maximum of 9 batches of 600lt. It focuses mainly on private clients and offers its wines mainly through personal meetings, e.g. during tastings at friends' houses or in the home environment of the historic cellar in Mikulov.
The winery has become a proud member of the "Association of Winemakers of the Dunajov Hills".
And you will have an exceptional opportunity to taste the wines of this winery in Brno.
