Wines in the Orchards is the 2nd annual tasting showcase of regional winemakers in the City Orchards in the centre of Ústí nad Lbem. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of wine tasting accompanied by live music or outdoor tastings. In addition, the area of the Municipal Orchards invites you to sit in the grass and it will be possible to rent blankets or picnic baskets during the event. The goal of August's Wines in the Orchards is a community gathering not only for county residents, but also to showcase winemakers from the surrounding area. There will also be an emphasis on involving producers from the region in the refreshments on offer, where visitors will find products awarded the Regional Food Label, in addition to the Regional Chamber of Agriculture. Music will include performances by a dulcimer band and regional performers. In the evening, the orchards will be transformed into a summer cinema. The screening will offer visitors the opportunity to watch a current Czech film, which the audience will choose in advance on the basis of a poll. Visitors will be able to sit on prepared chairs or sit in the grass. The two events will be pleasantly combined into a full-day cultural and social programme.
