Three days full of Moravian wine and foklor are traditionally held on the second weekend in September. You can look forward to folklore groups, dulcimer bands, a costume parade and stars of the Czech and Slovak music scene.

Hundreds of samples of local wines, stands with bourbon, a wine town and the prestigious National Wine Competition of the Mikulov wine region with a public tasting of the best wines await you. You can also learn about wine in the interactive educational programme Following the Winemaker's Footsteps or watch the traditional processing of grapes.
As every year, a historical retinue will set off from Mikulov to rescue King Wenceslas IV from a Viennese prison. On Friday evening, the King will arrive at dawn in the town square and will stay in Mikulov with Queen Chantal Poullain in the historical encampment. They will dance, celebrate and feast. You can come and see them and their entourage and experience what life was like in the Middle Ages.
