The vintage festival is held on the Saturday fourteen days after the striking of the mountain. It starts with a parade of costumed youth from the House of Culture in Prusanky, the boys carrying the mountain decorated with a wreath of nine flowers, a brass band playing in time to the beat. At the head of the procession are the hotarovers. In the meantime, local winemakers and their guests gather at the dance floor in Nechory, and lately there have been many tourists as well, because a wine cycle path runs through Nechory. The dulcimer music is playing. When they arrive at Nechory, the shohaye first builds a mountain - in a similar way to the mountain-bashing - and together with the girls they perform a ceremonial band. One by one, the girls recite a short poem that relates to one month of the year and tells what the winemaker is doing in the vineyard and cellar at that time. Then the shohaye and the girls dance in a circle and sing the song 'We have built a mountain, we have put twelve pins in...'. This is followed by a waltz and a drill. During the first half, one or more shohay plays a theft in the vineyard and, of course, the gamblers are caught. A symbolic punishment follows - usually the shohay gets a spanking on the butt. In order to prevent a similar situation from happening again, the hotaers read out mountain law for the edification of others. The program also includes performances by the local men's and women's choir and the Nechoránek children's ensemble.
After the program, there is free entertainment, people dance, sing and have a good time. The "Vinobraní pod Nechory" festival is the biggest and most visited of all the events in Nechory.
