What will you learn and learn?
The different topics of the course will focus on skills such as factual and professional description of wine according to the WSET standard, characterization of wine in its presentation, offer and sale with an emphasis on cultural language differences, or the ability to conduct a tour of the vineyard and winery with expert English interpretation.

Who is the course intended for?
The course is mainly intended for wine professionals such as service staff and sommeliers, F&B managers, merchants, buyers, technologists, tour guides, etc., but non-professionals, connoisseurs and wine lovers can also attend. The level of English is advanced and moderately advanced.

The course will be taught by experienced lecturer, native speaker, winemaker and consultant Mike Mazey together with wine lecturer and marketer Peter Ocenasek and American sommelier Arielle DeSoucey and will be based on the Wine Words textbook published by MKM Language School and Agency.

Procedure of the courses
This is a three-day (weekend) course, which will start with a meeting of all participants on Friday afternoon followed by a field tasting in the vineyards of the Václav Winery in Kurdějov. The course continues on Saturday and is completed on Sunday at 12:00.

Price 3 500,- CZK incl. VAT/person

The price includes professional teaching, all tasted wines, coffee break, tour of the vineyard, tour of the winery, teaching materials and study materials. Maximum of 10 attendees.
