"There is a lot of news. The most important one is that there will be only one big wine tasting in the Hotel Palcát, but there will be two wine tours through the historical cellars and underground of Tábor, because last year people enjoyed it very much. The first open cellars will focus on the best wines from the Dunajov Hills, a group of stars such as Volařík, Kadrnka, Mlýnek, Mikrosvín Mikulov and Šebesta. The second will present wines from the prestigious Salon wine competition. On both journeys you will taste the best domestic wines, it will be a blast!" promises the festival director Jiří Blafka. At the Grand Basket in the hall of the Hotel Palcát, visitors to the next edition of the festival will taste wines from wineries that have not yet been to the festival, as well as proven festival matadors.

Boutique wineries will then again be available for festival visitors to taste at partial tastings, either solo or in combination with food. These will be cooked by the best chefs. For example, the festival is preparing a thrilling cooking duel in which the Czech culinary Olympians Martin Svatek and Martin Pudil will compete. For example, the chefs from Thiru are preparing dishes on fire or a playful, fun dinner with a detective story, while Terrace Jordan will prepare Asian cuisine or vegetarian mania. This year there will also be a dinner with wines and music, with Moravian dulcimer and American jazz. All paired with wines, of course. And they are also thinking about children's or non-alcoholic tastings with lemonades.

The big news is the premiere of the third part of the wine film Berry, during which the actors and the producer of the film Vican winery will come to the Tábor Wine Festival. Not only will people see the film for the first time, but they will also meet the filmmakers and taste wine from Berries.

"We have something for everyone, it's all about fun. Just like every year, I recommend buying tickets for individual events in time, smaller tastings and open cellars will have limited capacity due to convenience, so that people are not disappointed," warns Jiří Blafka.
