The WSET Level 2 course is essential for anyone looking to make it in the wine and beverage industry. Students will gain a comprehensive education in wine and winemaking. The course is taught in an active way, allowing participants to develop the ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practice.
In a structured and deeply informative course, students will explore in detail the main grape varieties and world regions key to wine production. In addition, they will also gain an understanding of wine production and learn key technical terminology. At the end of the course, students will be able to reliably identify and classify wines.
Successful graduates of the final exam will receive an internationally recognised WSET Level 2 certificate, a badge and be able to use the certified WSET logo.
In the WSET courses, which are conducted at three levels, participants will gradually learn to navigate through more than 130 international wines. In addition, each learner has the opportunity to bring a wine of their own production, or a Czech or Moravian wine, which they will present and which will then be tasted and evaluated by all participants. Classes are taught in English.
