The afternoon conference with a guided wine tasting, which follows the morning seminar "Frankovka, the key variety not only of the Modré Hory region" will be opened by the manager of the DSO Modré Hory and the secretary of the VOC Modré Hory Lukáš Stávek with an introduction of the region and the marketing trend aimed at foreign tourists from Poland and Slovakia, as well as targeted outreach to the wine market in these countries.
Afterwards, there will be a guided tasting of eleven wines, both old and currently classified in the VOC Blue Mountains appellation, designed for sommeliers, which will be held under the baton of perhaps the most famous sommelier in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the great Mr. Libor Nazarčuk.
Throughout the day and during the tastings, the participants at the previous day-long seminar discussed the wines tasted in a substantive manner and spiced up the topics discussed with their questions and opinions. We believe that this and similarly erudite seminars are always of great benefit to all involved. The day-long seminar with the support of the Wine Fund is organized by the Association of Municipalities of the Blue Mountains in cooperation with the VOC Blue Mountains z.s. In a similar spirit, it is planned to organize this day-long seminar annually.
Participation in the conference with guided tasting is free of charge.
We look forward to a large turnout again.
