The 34th festival will open the cellars and uncork the bottles in the Painted Region - under the jousters with folk ornaments, in cellars covered with old bricks and in modern tasting rooms of new wineries. The wine here, like the songs of the Slovaks, is cheerful, full of love, lovemaking, courtship and recruitment, just like life itself. And if you want any more hints, Podluží is the kingdom of small winemakers, Pinot, green Silván, Laurel, Franconia and of course - the birthplace of the Cabernet Moravia variety. We'll probably start in Moravská, the trains stop there and, as always, buses will take you wherever you need to go, to the wineries, to the food stalls and to the places where the dulcimers are sounding, the brass bands are playing and maybe even the brass bands. The week before St. Martin's Day, let's toast to good wine!
