The Mělník vintage is one of the oldest and largest wine festivals in the Czech Republic! Its history dates back to 1911, when the first wine festival took place. Over the course of three days in September, more than 300 performers, from well-known Czech and foreign bands of all genres, to theatre performances, street performers and an audiovisual programme, will take part in four programme stages. There will also be a special tasting scene, where a sommelier will offer a pairing of regional wines with selected gastronomic specialties in combinations that have been specially prepared for the occasion, and the traditional Charles IV parade through the town, which, like the jousting on the castle stage, will be especially appreciated by history lovers.
