May Day again in the sign of rosé wines
For the thirteenth time, on 1 May, rosé wines from Moravia and Bohemia will transform Prague Castle into a place of joy, love and romance. This year, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the festival of rosé wines will traditionally take place directly on the St. Wenceslas Vineyard in the grounds of Villa Richter. You can look forward to dozens of wine samples from twenty wineries.
In addition to the wonderful wines, you can enjoy a pleasant atmosphere and breathtaking views of the whole of Prague. The event is designed not only for wine lovers, but for everyone who decided to spend the festive day in style in the company of fresh and playful rosé wines from Moravian and Czech vineyards. There will be no shortage of rosé sparkling wines and this year also new wine spritzers. Visitors will pay the winemakers for the wine samples using charging chips they will receive at the entrance.
1 May from 11 am to 7 pm.
Entrance fee 400 CZK on the spot and 350 CZK in advance sale includes: entrance, tasting glass, rechargeable chip pre-charged for 5 samples worth 100 CZK and information brochure. The virtual tasting coin is worth 20 CZK and visitors will receive 1 sample of wine of 0.5 dl. It will also be possible to buy whole bottles from the winemakers present. There will also be refreshments on site.
