One of the world's largest trade fair of wine and wineries - Düsseldorf ProWein welcome this year historically largest expedition of Czech and Moravian winemakers. The fair will host 13 exhibitors from the Czech Republic, that means twice the participants than in previous years. ProWein becomes the center of the wine world on March 15 to 17. Wine Fund is financing and organizing presentation of our wineries in cooperation with the National Wine Centre and exhibiting wineries.
Wine Fund was created in 2002 and supports only wine marketing, wine tourism development and informs public about wineries and winemaking. Wine Fund works on similar basis as organizations in other wine-growing countries in Europe. The National Wine Centre is a non-profit organization situated in the Valtice Chateau. Its general objective is to promote and support Czech and Moravian wines and wineries, not only through the Wine Salon of the Czech Republic, but also via publishing expert literature, organizing training courses and seminars etc. The National Wine Centre works closely with the Wine Fund of the Czech Republic.
ProWein offers a unique selection of exhibitors from around the world and that, in combination with a number of specialized accompanying exhibitions and presentation, makes it one of the largest professional wine events of the year. Our wines and wineries at ProWein will be presented by 13 exhibitors:

"Our winemakers have built great prestige in competitions around the world. Fairs are also an occasion to establish specific business relationships. We are only glad that more winemakers realize it and together we can introduce our wineries visibly and effectively to the world," commented on the participation of our winemakers Pavel Večeřa from Wine Fund.
This year, visitors can also enjoy a guided tasting of Czech and Moravian wines, at stand with Wines of Moravia, Wines of Bohemia, which traditionally meet with great interest. Tastings will be lead by Mr. Michael Mazey, in cooperation with the National Wine Centre. The first presentation will take place at the exposition of the Czech Republic on Sunday, 15th March from 13:00, the second on Monday, 16th March from 11:00 hours. It will be a thirty-minute presentation of Czech wines at stand J41 in hall number 15.
„Businessmen, owners of wine shops and restaurants may attend tastings, e.g. of French wines, practically anywhere in the world, but to get acquainted with Moravian and Czech wines outside the Czech Republic is offered only within few opportunities in the year. ProWein, especially this year with such numerous representations, is the most representative of the opportunities," said Pavel Večeřa.
ProWein is one of the largest and most important wine shows in the world, and this year it is being held for the twenty-first time. In 2014 the fair was attended by 4,830 exhibitors from 47 countries, when 82 % of the exhibitors were from abroad. In total the event attracted 49,048 trade visitors from all continents and more than 1000 journalists. ProWein offers valuable cross-section of current global supply and shows the direction the world winery is going. ProWein will be held in the exhibition halls, but during the exhibition days practically all Düsseldorf is experiencing "ProWein fever". Many evening gourmet events take place in Dusseldorf and around under the slogan "ProWein goes city". These events, organized by numerous restaurants, clubs, bars and wine shops, appeal to fair visitors who want their fair day relaxing let fade away, as well as to all wine lovers from around.
