The wine cellar U Čapků is located in the very centre of the picturesque historic village of Lednice in Moravia, which is rightly called the Garden of Europe thanks to its surroundings. The first mention of the wine cellar dates back to 1895, when it began its gradual construction to its present form and length of 67 metres. In the part of the cellar where the oak barrels are located, there is a unique climate - everything smells of wine and recalls the old wine-making tradition. The stocked wine is ready to be bottled and selected by customers for their pleasure and enjoyment. Visitors to the wine cellar can choose from 15 varieties of wine (for gourmets, there are also vintage wines available) and sit in close proximity to the barrels - the long wooden table can seat up to 60 guests. Moravian specialties are served with the wines and a dulcimer band or a folk accordion player will play on request.
