About the winery
The Machalínek family winery and guesthouse is located in the wine-growing village of Hovorany. In the wine cellar, guests can sit comfortably and attend guided tastings of Moravian wines under the guidance of the winemaker. Due to its location and facilities, the Machalínek Family Winery is ideal for organizing small events throughout the year, accommodation for tourists, cyclists, families with children, groups of friends, etc. It is possible to arrange seating for up to 40 people in the cellar. The winery also has a guesthouse that offers accommodation for 16 people.

The Machalínek family winery was established in 2004, when we started to deal with winemaking professionally. From a young age I helped my grandparents in the vineyard and cellar. In 1987 we built a small cellar, which expanded over time and with the increased interest in our wines. In 1996 we started planting new vineyards. We also expanded the cellar to include a sitting area and a guest house. We are engaged in the production of quality varietal quality and appellation wines grown in our own vineyards. We use the classic peasant method to produce wine. We process grapes only from our own vineyards. In these vineyards, we grow traditional varieties for the local area, as well as new hybrids and unusual varieties, which are a variety of tastings.
