The company Vinné sklepy Kutná Hora, s.r.o. was founded in 2002 by Mr. Stanislav Rudolfský. With his son Lukáš and daughter Stanislava, they set out to restore the old glory and long tradition of grape growing in the Kutná Hora region. Today we grow vines on 44 hectares of vineyards in Kutná Hora and its surroundings. Wines from this area are distinguished by their minerality and spiciness, which stem from the mineral-rich subsoil. Our main grape varieties are Pinot Noir, Tramin Red, Pinot Noir and Pinot Noir Blanc. We grow vines and other products in optimal quantities so as not to damage the environment. Our farm is all certified organic and is the only winery in the country to have the prestigious DEMETER biodynamic farming certificate. We carry out work operations depending on the phases of the moon, using biodynamic preparations, carob, diatomaceous earth, compost preparations, extracts of herbs, nettle, horsetail, sage. The winery is located in the monastery of St. Voršila, which was built between 1733 and 1743 by the builder Kilian Ignaz Diezenhofer. The cellars of the monastery are used for the maturation of wine in barrels and also as a museum of wine technology. In the above-ground part we have a stylish company shop, a small tasting room and a large tasting room called the refectory, where we organize tastings, corporate events, weddings, concerts. We will be happy to welcome you!
