At the Radkovics

Viticulture has deep roots in Moravia for more than two thousand years. The local people are warm and generous and to this day they preserve the traditions left by their fathers and mothers. All the local wine growers experience the same drama every year with the cultivation of the vines. Every vigneron prays to be spared the frosts, hailstorms and prolonged rains that would spell disaster. Between 130 and 200 days elapse between the first budding in spring and the autumn harvest. This is followed by the processing of the grapes, crushing and pressing, fermentation... It's endless and hard work, but the reward is a glass of delicious wine that reflects all that the local climate and soil have put into it, but also the skill and ability of each winemaker, and above all the passion, heart and love of each one.
