About the winery
On the outskirts of Vrchní Nechory and yet in the centre of the legendary cellar colony of Prušánek is the small U svatého Kříže Winery. Pavel Matušek, who has been farming professionally in the family vineyards since 2002, named his winery after the old religious monument where the annual festival is held. His wines, which reflect the kindness, calm and unhurried nature of the farmer, were included in the Small Wine Encyclopaedia and the Neronet 2008 vintage graced the Valtice Wine Salon.

The family winery was established in 2000 and continued the tradition of producing and selling the wines of its ancestors. The winery draws on the latest knowledge and technology of wine production. The wines are produced by controlled fermentation and other advanced technological processes. Our new vineyards produce quality grapes that are the basis for producing premium quality wines. This is confirmed by the fact that our wines were among the 100 best wines of 2008 and our products are sold in the Wine Salon of the Czech Republic. We want to be proud of our Nechory wines and bring you original taste experiences.
