The family winery Suský was founded in 2002, following the legacy of František Štambacher, grandfather of Marek Suský, who is today the continuator of a long family tradition. Currently, it farms under the integrated production system on four hectares of vineyards in Velkopavlovice, which are known mainly for their varieties for the production of quality red wines.

Establishment
The composition is based on Pinot Blanc, Veltliner, St. Lawrence, Blue Portugal, Franconia, Cabernet Moravia and Pinot Noir. The most recent plantings on 1.5 hectares date from 2018 and 2019. Annual production is around 20 000 bottles. The winery follows the trend of producing smaller lots of quality appellation wines with a strong influence of its own signature. The vinification method combines traditional methods with modern technological knowledge. The white grapes are processed purely and sensitively by controlled fermentation and the blue varieties by long maceration on the mash, which takes 6 to 8 weeks, and then aged in oak barrels in stable climatic conditions. The wines are available from the cellar in the price range of 180 to 250 crowns. Groups of up to twenty people can book into the pleasant surroundings of one of the oldest cellars in Velké Pavlovice, dating back to the 16th century, for a tasting and seating. The cellar includes a historic wooden press from the 19th century.
