About the winery

The cellar where you can taste and buy our wine is located in the middle of "Nechor" - a village of wine cellars falling under the municipality of Prusanky. Wine production is mainly focused on bottled wines. When you visit our cellar, we guarantee that you will be attended directly by the winemaker.

The MELCHRT winery is a family winery founded in 1998 by Drahoslav Melchrt, but the Melchrt family's winemaking history dates back to the mid-1950s. The original vineyards were gradually restored and expanded with new ones. This also expanded the range of wine varieties offered. The gradual expansion of the vineyards, through the construction of a new cellar, has changed the ratio between cask and bottled wines. Since 2010, the winery has focused mainly on the production of bottled wines, mainly from its own grape production. The wine is produced in the traditional way, but with the help of modern technology to increase quality. The cellar provides facilities for wine production and tastings for groups of up to 40 visitors. It is located in the wine cellar village of Nechory, which falls under the municipality of Prušánky, a popular tourist location in recent years.
