About the winery
You can look forward to lively, dry wines that will make you feel good. Fermented on natural yeasts from the vineyard, aged on yeast and the young wines go into the bottle without filtering or clarification. We don't add anything that doesn't belong in the wine, so even allergy sufferers and vegans will appreciate our tastings. We introduce beginners to the world of fine wine, and for the more advanced we have more challenging wine styles including archival treasures. We look after groups from four guests to a bus as if they were our own. And it's not just our words - check reviews on review sites. ;-)
Drive all the way up the hill, park at the church and walk down the "Italian" lane to the Medek Winery (80 m / 1 min). The nearest bus stop is "Uherské Hradiště, Sady" about 350 meters away. Walk towards the direction of the centre of Uherské Hradiště along the street "Solná cesta" and take the first alley uphill on your left. The winery is almost at the top of the bend. The train station "Kunovice" is 15 minutes walk (1 km) from the winery. Beware of a common mistake - there is also a "Kunovice, stop" which is further away. You exit the station in the direction from Uherské Hradiště. Just go behind the little church on the hill on your left, the winery is directly below it. If you get lost, just call and we will guide you :-)

We make wines that we like and that we like to drink. Live, fermented on wild yeasts, unfiltered and with minimal sulphur content. And we are glad that you, who come to our cellar in Uherské Hradiště to taste them or order them for your home, like them too.
We will show you how to make and enjoy good wine. We will be happy to introduce beginners to the beauty of wine from the very basics, while more experienced wine lovers will be shown the nooks and crannies of more complex wines that require more patience. And we can even do it remotely during our live online tastings, which we also tailor for small groups or as wine teambuilding for you and your colleagues.
We'll guide you through winemaking approaches and wines, from modern, easy-to-access wines (VENI), to traditional bottles that require patience in processing and sipping (VIDI), to robust wines, mostly from barrique barrels (VICI). We will teach you how to pair wines with food to make your experience even richer.

You can taste our natural, unfiltered, only minimally sulphured wines. If you are a fan of archival wines, we will be happy to prepare a tasting of treasures from even the dustiest corners of the cellar :-)
Additional offer
We organize online and offline teambuilding, either in your office or in our basement. Thanks to our care, deals have already been made in the basement that wouldn't stand a chance in the boardroom. We'll come to you with a tasting at your garden party or perhaps a wedding, where we usually entertain guests during the newlyweds' photo shoot. We can create a matching menu for your celebration or we can host the entire garden party in our home.
