Josef Forman Winery

It was founded a couple of decades ago when his father Josef Forman was making wine in small quantities and his son Josef was helping him and gaining experience. In 1995, Josef Forman established his own winery with the help of his eldest son Lukas. He farms 2.5 hectares of vineyards located near the Pálava Hills. The main routes are Bavaria and Za Větrolamem, where the varieties Pálava, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon, Neuburg, Riesling and Franconia are harvested. To complete the range, we buy grapes from a private farmer from Horní Věstonice, who has excellent lines U Venuše, Pod Děvínem and Pod Martinkaou. The grapes ripen here with high sugar content and produce excellent wines.
