Fučík Winery is a family winery from Mikulov. The Fučík family's farming and winemaking tradition dates back to the 19th century and has always been characterized by an emphasis on quality and the production of the best wines. Our winery produces natural and original wines of high quality, in which you will find the terroir in which the grapes were born. We don't want to make other wines, we don't and we won't. The quality of the wine is our first priority and we prefer it to quantity.
Establishment
Our family has always been involved in winemaking in Mikulov. Before 1989, in small quantities of hundreds of litres in demijohns, then for a while in tanks and large barrels, and then again in smaller quantities when my father retired and the winery slowly came to an end. So I was faced with the decision of whether or not the winemaking in our family would end.
Because I love vineyards, wine and everything related to it, I decided to return to Mikulov and not only continue my dad's work, but also to build a new modern winery by reconstructing part of the old farmhouse, which I bought in 2014.
In 2016 we then started the renovation of the former granary and dairy into the Hotel Ryzlink.
