DOBRÁ VINICE is a small winery specializing in the production of biodynamic wines in the cellar farm in Nový Šaldorf in the Znojmo region. The main part of the production comes from the vineyards Pod lesem - Znojmo Popice. The grapes are grown in harmony with nature. Only organic and biodynamic preparations are used and we follow the phases of the moon. The wines are aged in oak and acacia barrels. Some batches are made using the 8000 year old method in Georgian qvevri containers.

The company was founded in 1992 and started commercial wine production in 1998. The grape harvest is reduced below 50q/ha. Harvesting is done by hand in small crates. Pressing takes place partly from whole grapes or long-term maceration on the mash. During fermentation we use only natural yeasts from our vineyards, no chemical additives are used. Our wines are aged in oak, acacia barrels and qvevri Georgia clay containers. Our wines are very gently mechanically filtered or not filtered at all. Finally, the wines are racked and stored in the ideal conditions of our sandstone cellars in Nový Šaldorf. Some batches of wines are produced in the old Georgian qvevri method. These are earthenware, unglazed containers completely embedded in the ground with a capacity of 1 000 litres. Dobrá Vinice has the largest sandstone cellar in Central Europe. The seating capacity is 14 to 30 people.
