About the winery
The winery operates in the historical centre of Znojmo in the premises and cellars of the Renaissance house on Masaryk Square. In addition to the winery, the house also includes a wine bar with a spacious terrace, a microbrewery and accommodation in apartments. The winery manages 3 hectares of its own vineyards, which are operated in an organic regime. The philosophy of the winery is diversity and quality - the wines are produced by reductive and oxidative technologies in stainless steel tanks, oak and acacia barrels, ceramic kvevri containers and concrete eggs.

The Nešetřil winery has been established and working since 2019 in the heart of the historic centre of the ancient town of Znojmo, in the walls of an early Renaissance burgher and trade house from the fifteenth century, on several floors of its stone cellars. The main ambition is choice, variety and quality. Each year we fill approximately 21,000 bottles with wine, partly from grapes from our own vineyards at Kraví hora near Znojmo (2.5 ha) and Hnanice (0.5 ha). The production is not one-sided; on the contrary, the aim is to learn and master as many traditional and modern approaches to wine production as possible. Our products include wines produced in stainless steel tanks, concrete eggs, oak and acacia barrels and even Georgian clay amphorae called kvevri. These are buried up to their necks in the ground in the passageway of the house, giving visitors a glimpse of technology that is more than eight thousand years old. But we don't just stick to technology, we also experiment with wine styles - our portfolio includes pure, reductive, natural, oxidative and unfiltered wines with a subtle opal haze. We search, taste and find. And only what we like ourselves, we offer to our customers. Wine is a joy and we strive to make it a joy shared.
