In the Botanical Garden Prague in Troja you will find St. Clare's Vineyard with a magical view of the whole metropolis. The listed St. Clare's Vineyard, together with other vineyards, recalls the former glory of Prague winemaking. The botanical garden continued the vineyard's nearly 800-year history when it took over the vineyard in 1995. In addition to the restoration of the vineyard, it began to build a wine trail and gradually opened the vineyard to the public.
Gewürztraminer or Traminer rot is white wine. More precisely, it is a variety of white wine. So why is it called red? This is due to the reddish colour of the grapes. It is grown in all sub-areas, most of which can be found in the Velkopavlovice, Bzenec, Mikulov or Čáslav or Most regions. As with Pálava, Traminer will show its beauty, aroma and spiciness especially in the dry version.
