We are a small wine company that started our winemaking business in 2005. We cultivate almost 8.5 hectares of vineyards in the top positions in the Mikulov region in the beautiful surroundings of the Pálava Hills and process only grapes from our own production. In our vineyards, the basic philosophical principles are: limitation of chemical inputs, reductive pruning and high quality work that leads to the production of grapes for top wines, as the basic motto of the company is that wine is made in the vineyard.
Pálava was cultivated by Ing. Josef Veverka by crossing the varieties Gewürztraminer and Müller Thurgau. Probably the best results are achieved mainly in the Mikulov subregion, in the vicinity of the municipalities of Perná, Pavlov or Bulhary, then in Lechovice, Popice or Čejkovice. Pálava is often automatically perceived as a sweet wine, i.e. with a higher residual sugar but this is not always the rule. In the dry version we discover the charm and beauty of this variety.
