About winemaker
We are a small family winery that manages vineyards in the cadastre of Velké Bílovice and produces wines from our own grapes. The volume of wine production ranks us among small wineries. We are able to take care of the quality of the grapes and its ripening, which is reflected in the quality of the wine. We harvest our grapes in the traditional manual way with the help of our family. The wines are made in a sensitive way, combining modern and classical techniques, so as to preserve the natural component and harmony of flavour. The wines are finished in the wine cellar in the Pod Předníma track and guided tastings are also held.
Basic characteristics of wine
Dornfelder is a German variety and it is still a very important blue variety. However, we also meet it more and more often in our country where it is very successful thanks to optimal climatic conditions. In our country it is grown mainly in Moravia, it thrives most in the Velkopavlovice, Mikulov and Slovácko regions.
