Nechory Winery is located in the middle of the picturesque village of Nechory wine cellars situated among vineyards about 2 km from the village of Prusanky. Wine production is based on the traditions and wine-making art of the Hnidák family from Prušánky. At present we manage 25 ha of vineyards in the vicinity of the villages of Prušánky, Nový Poddvorov and Josefov. We focus on the production of quality wines with a high level of quality, which is also reflected in the selection of vineyard lines, varietal composition and grape clones. The strictly selected and reduced harvest provides a very good raw material potential.
Gewürztraminer or Traminer rot is white wine. More precisely, it is a variety of white wine. So why is it called red? This is due to the reddish colour of the grapes. It is grown in all sub-areas, most of which can be found in the Velkopavlovice, Bzenec, Mikulov or Čáslav or Most regions. As with Pálava, Traminer will show its beauty, aroma and spiciness especially in the dry version.
