Vinařství Mutěnice, s. r. o. has been operating on the Czech market since 1997. It is a dynamic company, building on centuries-old traditions of grape growing and wine production in one of the largest wine-growing villages in the Czech Republic. The company processes grapes from dozens of hectares, part of which is located in the Slovácké and Velkopavlovická wine region. Over the course of its operation, the winery has developed into one of the largest importers of wine and grapes in the Czech Republic and with a total production of approximately 280 million litres of wine over the entire period of its operation, it ranks among the largest wineries in the Czech Republic.
Sauvignon belongs among the most popular three white wines together with the Chardonnay and Riesling varieties. It is assumed that it comes from the French region of Bordeaux or from the Loire region. The most typical Sauvignons can be found in the Znojmo or Mikulov region.
