Accept our invitation to the pleasant and cosy premises of the newly renovated cellar of the Žarošice Winery. The cellar is located in the beautiful surroundings of the picturesque village of Žarošice in South Moravia. Our small winery cultivates nearly 2 hectares of vineyards in the Nové Hory vineyard. All the vineyards are situated at the foot of the Ždánický Forest, with a beautiful southern disposition. We pay particular attention to the high quality of grown grapes and their gentle processing.
Pálava was cultivated by Ing. Josef Veverka by crossing the varieties Gewürztraminer and Müller Thurgau. Probably the best results are achieved mainly in the Mikulov subregion, in the vicinity of the municipalities of Perná, Pavlov or Bulhary, then in Lechovice, Popice or Čejkovice. Pálava is often automatically perceived as a sweet wine, i.e. with a higher residual sugar but this is not always the rule. In the dry version we discover the charm and beauty of this variety.
