Winery pod Radobýlem was founded out of love for wine in 2012. In the wine-growing region of Bohemia, in the Litoměřice sub-region, in the village of Žalhostice rises the magical hill Radobýl, whose slopes have covered vineyards for centuries since the time of Charles IV. Two enthusiasts from the North Bohemian town of Teplice are now clearing the slopes of Radobýl of woody growth and planting new vineyards to return the vines to where they historically belonged. We are a new winery with modern technology that produces quality dry wines suitable for gastronomy.
Müller Thurgau is our fifth most cultivated white variety (9.46%), so it is produced by almost all wine producers. Müller from Valtice, Mikulov, Znojmo, Mělnicko or Žernoseky is definitely worth a try. Müller Thurgau is best drunk as a young wine under two to three years of age. This, together with its early maturation, is one of the reasons why it is one of the main varieties of St. Martin's wines.
