Zemánek Winery

The family winery was founded in April 1991 by his father František. After graduating from wine school in 1994, his son David joined the family business. Currently we grow 11.11 hectares of vineyards, we process all of our production. The philosophy of the winery is focused on a gentle approach to nature, and in the cellar on the production of a natural product. Our vineyards are grassed, the vegetation is harvested. This cover is a source of nutrients, so we minimize the use of industrial fertilizers. Thanks to the ecosystem in the vineyard and the beneficial organisms that live in it, such as predatory mites, sundews, titmice and others, chemicals are no longer used in the vineyard against harmful mites and insects. Thanks to the excellent physiological condition of the vines grown in this system, the grapes from these vineyards are well ripened and provide very good quality raw material for the production of our wines. In October 2010, Martin Zemánek took over the company and the founder of the winery, František Zemánek, took a well-deserved retirement.Due to his many years of experience and retirement, he serves as an advisor to the company.
