About the winery

On the very north-western edge of the Znojmo sub-region, the Sádek Wine and Cultural Centre with vineyards, hotel, restaurant, smokehouse, processing and archive cellars, wine cellar and natural amphitheatre was built in 2003. This centre of winemaking in the Trebic district was built by the owners Ing. Lubomír Lampíř and Ing. Ladislav Čech with the support of the SAPARD programme. Facilities: pleasant seating in the restaurant with hot and cold cuisine, outdoor terrace, sitting at the smokehouse with the possibility of roasting piglets, turkeys and a range of smoked and grilled specialties. The wine cellar with its unique Egger vault consists of three aisles. The first is a stylish wine bar, the second a wine cellar with boxes that are rented for archiving bottled wines. The third boat serves as a production cellar, to process wine from the local vineyard. The local wine shop offers the sale of archive wines of domestic and foreign production. In the cellars, tastings are held, led by leading Czech and foreign winemakers. Thanks to its extensive social spaces, the Wine Centre offers the possibility of organising events ranging from corporate training sessions to private family celebrations. The centre includes a natural amphitheatre, where cultural and social events (theatre performances, musical performances, summer cinema, etc.) are organised, including the traditional dulcimer festival. Regular events: the Sádek Wine and Culture Centre hosts various events throughout the year, combining wine, gastronomy and cultural programmes. The regular events include. The Sádek Wine and Cultural Centre is a member of the Voluntary Association of Znojmo Wine Growing Municipalities Daniz and is included in the association's tourist programme, which is focused on wine tourism "Welcome to the cellar streets".
