The PROQIN family winery focuses on the production of selected still and mainly classic sparkling wines by the bottle fermentation method in the wine-growing village of Velké Němčice. The young winery PROQIN from Moravia aims to contribute to the change of style and trends in wine and bubbly drinking in our country. Their life credo is "NON MULTA SED MULTUM - LESS IS MORE". PROQIN actively cooperates with the Mendel University in Brno on research and development of new products such as grape seed oil and low-alcohol sparkling wines. An attraction is the art of sabrage - chopping the necks of sparkling wines.
Sauvignon belongs among the most popular three white wines together with the Chardonnay and Riesling varieties. It is assumed that it comes from the French region of Bordeaux or from the Loire region. The most typical Sauvignons can be found in the Znojmo or Mikulov region.
