WSET Level 1 course in Prague

We currently have 10 places available in the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines course, which will take place on 14 June from 9am to 6pm at the Makro Academy in Prague. Under the guidance of an experienced lecturer, students will learn the basic skills and knowledge that will enable them to pursue a career in the wine industry, hospitality and wine trade. The training is also suitable for wine lovers who want to broaden their awareness of wine.

At the end of the course, students will be able to systematically taste wine and identify the main wine styles. In addition, they will learn the most important principles of wine and food pairing. Successful students will be awarded an internationally recognised WSET certificate and badge after passing the exam.

In the WSET courses, which take place at three levels, participants will gradually learn to navigate through more than 130 international wines. In addition, each learner has the opportunity to bring a wine of their own production, or a Czech or Moravian wine, which they present and which is then tasted and evaluated by all participants. The course will be taught in English.
