Plantations are growing across Europe, especially in the more northerly regions, but not only in places with a border climate. Organic grape growing, higher and stable yields per hectare and carbon footprint are increasingly being promoted. Are PIWI varieties the only answer? How will the classic and often rigid wine consumer or the professional public deal with them? And what should be the winemaking style of these wines? We will talk about all this with two very experienced guests. Of course, this will include 15 wines that each participant will first rate on their own and then we will evaluate them together with the guests, with an emphasis on style, pricing in the market and their quality and presentation.
